Job Summary :

Education: B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech - Computers

Requirements:

• BTech/BE or equivalent degree in a computer science discipline from a top tier institute

• Experience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches (or equivalent)

• Strong understanding of Web Development, Data structures, Algorithms & Object Oriented Programming

• Strong programming ability using Java, MySQL, Javascript, HTML & XML

• Familiarity with Python, AJAX & Agile Software Development process

• Strong Prototyping ability

• Comfortable on both Unix and Windows environment

• A passion for problem-solving, comfort with ambiguity, and creativity

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment and drive change, and collaborate effectively with a variety of individuals and organizations

Job Description:

Role:

Our product development team will provide modular, scalable and easy-to-use software products to help Retailers collect better data about their customers and in turn help these Retailers improve their profits through superior planning of their product and marketing expenditure.

We are looking for a quantitative computer science graduate who will strongly influence the product development by prototyping, developing, institutionalizing and actively engaging in an Agile Software development process. The engineer will work closely with the founders on various aspects of the product development while giving strategic suggestions for superior analytics and product roadmap. This position is full-time and located in our Mumbai office (Sion) .

Responsibilities:

• Work on all the aspects of Software Development from Design, Coding, Testing with particular focus on prototyping, web development and database management

• Programming with a strong focus on Usability, Customer Experience and Modular Architecture for Scalability

• Drive discussions about new product feature development and be a key member in definition of future product roadmap

• Maintain strong relationships with Customers and manage any form of technical customer support

• Identify opportunities for adoption of new technologies, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of Product Development by effectively communicating results to Founders
