Job Role: Software Engineer (J2EE & Java)
Job Summary :
Candidate must have demonstrated expertise in developing enterprise software with proficiency in Java, Java Enterprise, Spring, and relational database technologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and test software code based on functional specifications and technical design. Adhere to development techniques and standards.
Understand, enhance and support existing code base.
:Conceive technical design for software features and enhancements. Adhere to standards and develop designs that consider impact with other aspects of the application and appropriately leverage existing code.
Work with test engineers and production support group to resolve application issues.
Accurately document software functionality.
Required Technical Skills and Competencies:
Expertise programming in Java and Java Enterprise technologies (EJBs, Servlets, JDBC, JPA and XML).
Experience developing with server:side web technologies (Struts and JSON).
Experience using relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
Experience developing unit, functional, and stress tests and using related tools.
Experience developing and delivering efficient and scalable implementations.
Possess strong Unix/Linux knowledge and experience.
Desired Technical Skills and Competencies:
Experience developing with client:side web technologies (HTML, CSS, AJAX and jQuery).
Experience developing in a Eclipse environment.
Experience working with email and large volume delivery system.
