Job Role: Room Service Order Taker
Job Summary :
Responsibilities:
Take the call, take down the room numbers and the order as per the specification from the guest.
Commit the time to the guest as to when the order will be delivered.
Check for any guest history from the Front Office, key the order into the computer and print the bill against order noted.
Check the bill against the order noted, write the special instructions and time committed to the guest.
Hand over the order to duty captain and post the bills immediately.
Intimate the guest in case of delay in delivering the order.
Call the guest for comments on each session.
To attend to HOD calls for their requirement/orders.
To take orders from Business Center / Fitness Centre, if any Packed order calls to be attended and suggested accordingly.
Tele calls to be given to all the regular packed order companies.
Find out with kitchen for available and non-available items on each shift.
Check with kitchen for any item to be sold as Chefs Special.
To follow the order takers checklist shift wise.
Upkeep the order takers cabin.
Courtesy & welcome calls to be given.
Stationery requisition to be done on a weekly basis.
Adherence to T.B.E.M processes.
Enabling and adherence of the principles and work practices detailed under HACCP System in the department viz., Food Safety, Hygiene and Cleanliness, Health, Storage etc as applicable to the area of your work place.
Should be a Hotel Management Graduate
